How can I record and track my trips?

Allegory records your trips automatically as soon as you start driving your car. Alternatively, you can start your trip manually by tapping on the “Start a Trip” button on the app. Once you complete your trip, you will see all the details of that trip on the Trips page.

What types of driving tasks are there?

Allegory has developed a unique way to coach drivers to become safer; we call it your Journey. As you progress along your Journey, you will be assigned goals to accomplish that relate to the specific primary risk factors that determine your Driving Score. These goals include things like: driving a certain distance without a distraction event; driving a certain number of trips without a harsh acceleration event, or driving along a safer route than your normal commute. Download the app to get your Journey started!

Can I mark my business trips for tax and reimbursements purposes?

Absolutely you can. Once you complete a trip, you can mark it as personal or business on the trip details page. Moreover, you can download your trips anytime you want. You can also see the start and end locations, duration and distance, average and maximum speeds for each trip.
