We own and operate the ‘www.allegoryinsurance.com’ and 'www.allegoryapp.com' and 'www.allegory.app' websites and ‘the Allegory App’ mobile application (collectively the “Service” or “Services”). We are a technology company that is federally incorporated under the laws of Canada, and located at Toronto - Exchange Tower, 130 King Street West, Suite 1800, Toronto, ON M5X 1W3, Canada.

We are responsible for all Personal Information under our control. We have established policies to comply with this Notice. We have dedicated personnel who is responsible for ensuring we comply with privacy legislation.   • Mobile phone numbers of other drivers in your household
  • Your mobile phone’s accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer data
  • Your current insurance status and current insurance company, if applicable
  • The number of vehicles you have and the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of each vehicles

  • Create an account for you to manage your trips, and build your insurance score
  • Detect your trips automatically based on the change in your location and speed
  • Show your past trips and driving events on an interactive map
  • Calculate your Driving Score
  • Retrieve other crucial data regarding your trips such as weather conditions, road types, and traffic volume
  • Send location-based emergency notifications to protect you against known or expected hazards
  • Better understand your insurance and service needs
  • Administer your quotation and insurance policy
  • Market or remarket a product or Service, either directly, or through our partners, affiliates, third-party service providers, or advertisers
  • Improve our business by performing statistical and actuarial analyses
  • Communicate with you
  • Detect and prevent fraud
  • Detect, prevent and address technical issues
  • Educate our employees and monitor their performance for quality assurance
We protect your information by
  • Contractually obligating our affiliates, and any third-party services we engage to perform Services on our behalf, to observe the intent of our privacy statement, and our privacy policy and practices

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
