When do you pay your car insurance deductible?

In this post, we talk about when you will have to cover for your car insurance deductible

Your car insurance deductible, similar to any other insurance deductible, is the amount you are responsible for paying after a car accident.

For example, let's assume that your collision coverage has a deductible amount of $2,000. If you get into an accident that costs $3,000 to repair your car (note that Collision Coverage covers your own vehicle's damages), the amount you are going to pay out of pocket will be $2,000. The rest, i.e. $1,000, will be paid by your car insurance company.

While most insurance companies put deductible on their car insurance policy, you can get this amount paid off entirely with the Allegory Deductible Waiver product. Click here to learn more or download the Allegory App today to subscribe to our pay-as-you-go deductible wavier product.
